3rd Party Listings Synchronisation

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

We want to have all of our eBay products import into Magento (Without having to have an order placed). Currently when we look at the synchronisation settings page we see this:

https://docs.m2epro.com/display/eBayMagentoV6X/Synchronization

However we'd like to know what needs to be done so we see this:

https://docs.m2epro.com/display/eBayMagentoV6/Synchronization

Is this a different version? We're running on Magento 1.9.2.4, and M2E Pro is fully up to date (well, it appears to be) with a valid licence.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi I have the same problem. In the official documentation they say that certain features are available only in advanced mode.
I have configured M2E Pro in advanced mode but still those features for 3rd party listing synchroniation remain hidden/not enabled.
I tryed to send a help request via email to the support but the answer was that I have to simply follow the documentation or consult forum section.
Anyone has managed to solve this backend feature issue?

The synchronization settings in this article https://docs.m2epro.com/display/eBayMagentoV6/Synchronization are for very outdated versions of m2e pro. Orders import can't be switched off as orders are imported into m2e by default.

Ben, if you simply want magento orders were not created based on imported orders from the channel, you just need to disable magento order creation rules in account configurations. Select No for Create Order in Magento option for all the types of listings. Here is the docs you need

amazon https://docs.m2epro.com/display/AmazonMagentoV6X/Orders

Nico, products listed directly on the channel (not via m2e pro) will be imported into 3rd party listing if Import 3 rd Party Listings   option is enabled in account settings in 3rd party listings tab. I assume that this option is currently disabled. That is why you can't find 3rd party listings. Here is needed docs for you

In account settings, in 3rd party listings tab, the option Import 3rd Party Listings IS ENABLED, see attachment.
Technical support answered me that CRON must be enabled. In my case there was not any cron job in server environment.
=================================From technical support email:========================================
"We've investigated the issue and it turns up Cron Job is not running for your M2E. That is the reason 3rd Party Listings does not import to M2E. Starting from the 6.1.1. version for Magento v 1.x and all versions from Magento v 2.x M2E Pro uses it's own Cron Service."
=================================================================================================

Now I have activated Cron Job every minute (perhaps now cron is too frequent?) but I cannot see any products syncronized whenever I see at Listings > 3rd Party Listings tab.
Anyone has idea how to solve?

The frequency the cron is running does not affect the synchronization performance. I would recommend you to request the m2e support to reset 3rd party listing so that products could be reimported anew. However, previously you need to make sure that system configurations of max execution time are high enough to let synchronization to download 3rd party items as this action is source consuming. In case the value of max execution time is low and the number of products to be imported is big the synchronization will most probably fail to process the import action or only part of products will be imported.
