Price per Unit: Dot to Comma problem

Recommended Posts

I'm from Germany. In german ebay, it is necessary to show the "Grundpreis" (price per unit, e.g. 5,- €/l). This works fine when giving ebay the attribute "Anzahl der Einheiten" (number of units, e.g. 0,75l) with a number, that includes a comma: 0,75l. Magento uses the dot, e.g. 0.75l. Ebay ignores the dot and thinks it's 75l, so the price per unit is completely wrong.

How can I tell ebay (or m2e pro) that the dot should be a comma?

Thx in adcance

@AyJay did you find a solutionfor that? we are havingthe same trouble. 0.7 is interpreted as 0. changing the 0.7 to 0,7 in ebay resolves the rpoblem so this is definately an M2E pro export issue,

@robgt this is NOT a currency problem but the population of category specific values which are mapped to a magento attribute,

The problem is that there is a difference between the way Magento and eBay display the prices. eBay uses 'comma' as a separator when displaying the price. M2E will not convert the price format when it sends the price from your Magento. Looks like you have to submit your initial price using a comma.
